European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging Media Services

EVDI (European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging) has been formed to group information common to both EAVDI and ECVDI under the same roof. This website will act as a portal to access both affiliated organizations. EAVDI (European Association of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging): is a non-profit association encompassing all aspects of diagnostic imaging, with the aim of sharing knowledge and expertise as well as providing social and networking opportunities. ECVDI (European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging) is the governing body for granting specialist status in veterinary diagnostic imaging in the European Union. Diagnostic imaging is defined as the specialty of "diagnosis with the aid of images representing anatomy, physiology and pathology of the body, predominantly by radiology and ultrasonography, but also by nuclear medicine, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging."
Here reference to evdi.org, the 'European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging' group equate to ECVDI and/or EAVDI. These terms and conditions bind these organisations together as affiliates.

Service

This service is provided to USERS who agree to abide by the terms of use. The web site and its pages may be used for professional use only by strictly bone fide veterinarians. Business (commercial) users other than bone fide members of European Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging (EAVDI and/or ECVDI) must obtain written consent from evdi.org. before use.

Any user who breaks this agreement may have their use cancelled at any time, at evdi.org sole discretion. The user may be permanently banned from using the evdi.org website. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless evdi.org for any loss, liability, and damage arising from or in connection with the contents or service of any evdi.org web service.

The EVDI and affiliate websites, organisations and subsidiaries are not responsible for the quality of service or products of third parties. You are reminded, medical procedures and outcome thereof, medical equipment and paraphernalia, animal health and welfare, promises insurance and assurances remain the responsibility of the pet(s) owner(s) and/or veterinary practitioner(s) as applicable.

Online Conduct

You are entirely responsible and liable for all of your activities, conduct etc. on and at evdi.org. You will not post on, from or through the service, or transmit to other users of the service, any material that infringes or violates another party's intellectual property rights (including another party's copyrights, trademark rights or trade secret rights) or rights of privacy, publicity or personality.

Site Monitoring

evdi.org reserves the right without obligation or responsibility, to monitor the materials posted on the evdi.org web site and pages. evdi.org reserves the right to remove or modify any such material that at, evdi.org sole discretion, violates, or may violate, any third party right, applicable law or this agreement. You remain solely responsible for the content of the materials you post in any area of the service and your private email messages should such services be available to you. Users are responsible for all content submitted to evdi.org and will be held legally accountable when necessary. evdi.org reserve the right to make amendments or modifications to any material posted, incorporated into other documents or records as fits evdi.org requirements.

Prohibited Use

You agree not to do any of the following:

  1. Copy any software or content provided to you by evdi.org. Copying and placement of prepared promotional material such as link graphics, press releases and other specific promotional items is acceptable.
  2. Translate any software or content provided to you by evdi.org.
  3. Merge any software or content provided to you by evdi.org with another program or modify any software or content provided to you by evdi.org.
  4. Reverse-engineer, disassemble, decompile, or make any attempt to discover the source code underlying the services offered by or in connection with evdi.org.

Right to Refuse Service

EVDI, the evdi.org website reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.

Prohibited Material

This includes but is not limited to the following:

  1. No profanity, or harassment
  2. No hate or racist propaganda
  3. No illegal activity under any law
  4. No nudity or pornographic material
  5. No material that violates or infringes third party rights.
  6. Any material which evdi.org deems inappropriate, at its sole discretion. If your use contains any of the above material, you may not use evdi.org.

If you violate the terms of use, and place prohibited material on at evdi.org web page anyway, your use will be subject to deletion without notice and possible banning from the service. If you think material you use may be questionable, email the Editor or administrator of the specific EVDI website (using our online email form) for a review before using the service.

Material Available

You understand that information available to you from third parties or directly from evdi.org may include materials that are unedited, Inaccurate or offensive to you and that your access to such materials is at your own risk. evdi.org and its affiliates hereby disclaim any responsibility for or control over such materials. In addition, evdi.org and its affiliates disclaim any responsibility for the use of any personal information that you may choose to disclose in connection with the use of this service.

Third Party Service/Products

You must verify the validity of third party information, services or products sourced at evdi.org or partners and affiliates including advice offered in chat rooms, via email or posted directly to any web pages etc. evdi.org accepts no liability for the conduct of third parties or for losses incurred from contact with such third parties.

Modifications

evdi.org reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service, or any portion of the service, with or without notice to you, and shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any consequences arising from such modification or discontinuation.

Ownership

evdi.org retains ownership and all rights to evdi.org, eavdi.org and ecvdi.org name, logo's, software, media products such as databases, reports, web site, downloaded material and all information.

Copyright Policy

evdi.org respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we ask our users to respect those rights as well. You should not breach existing or claimed property rights when using evdi.org. You should not copy & paste or re-key printed material elements of copy written material for publication at evdi.org. evdi.org use promotional material such as packaging/record/video sleeve art etc in a 'fair usage' context, respective copyrights apply.

Cancellation

Either you or evdi.org may cancel your use and access to the service at any time for any reason, or for no reason. You may cancel your use by stopping the use of the service and it's web pages. All original material added to evdi.org listings become the property of evdi.org. Donations and offerings made to the evdi.org website, evdi.org are the property of evdi.org.

Disclaimer

You agree and understand that you are using the service and this web site at your own risk. The service and this web site are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. evdi.org makes no warranties with respect to the service, either express or implied, and evdi.org hereby disclaims to the fullest amount allowed by law, any warranties of satisfactory quality, quiet enjoyment, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. You acknowledge and agree:

  1. That the service may contain bugs, defects and errors.
  2. That the service may be unavailable or inaccessible to you for

  3. That lost or corrupted data, including online and on your own computer is not the responsibility of evdi.org.
