Guidelines for the 2017 EVDI meeting in Verona, Italy
The award is available to EAVDI members in order to help finance attendance at the annual EVDI meeting. This year, the meeting is in Verona, Italy from 29/08/2017 to 02/09/2017.
Preference is given to those who are in a veterinary radiology training program (applicants do not need to be ECVDI residents) and who are presenting a paper or poster at the meeting. Applications need to be accompanied by a copy of the submitted abstract.
In addition, candidates must be members of EAVDI with up to datemembership status.
The award can only be given once to the same person. The number and size of the awards for this year was agreed at the last AGM. There will be four awards covering the cost of the meeting including accommodation and travel for up to £450 each. If you are awarded you must deliver EAVDI the invoices of your expenses to be reimbursed of the £450.
In cases where more than one applicant are in the same circumstances other decisive factors that may be used by the Board are: the candidate’s financial circumstances, reasons for applying, year of training, number of abstracts submitted, quality of the information provided and whether a presentation or a poster is presented.
