EAVDI-BID Autumn meeting
Girton College, Cambridge

The Autumn meeting this year will be in Girton College, Cambridge. This year we have a very exiting programme of lectures and CPD, with internationally renowned speakers giving us their insight and practical tips. All interested in improving their imaging skills are welcome – there will be topics of interest for everyone.

The first day (Friday 11th November) covers diverse imaging topics, ranging from inflammatory and anomalous neurological diseases to imaging the equine athlete, presented by leading imaging specialists. If suitable, scientific abstracts will also be presented

Day two (Saturday 12th November) is our Interventional Radiology Day. Do you get the most out of radiology in your practice? Do you know how to take image guided samples? Do you know which advanced techniques can be guided by imaging to treat your patients in a less invasive manner than surgery – including cardiac diseases, portosystemic shunts and stents? This day covers interventions in ultrasound, CT, cardiology and fluoroscopy, and will have experts in these areas explaining which techniques are available, cases are suitable, and the advantages and disadvantages of each.

On both days, we also have a fun film reading session to test your film reading skills.
